30 Years of Happiness

30 Years of Happiness was the intriguing title of talk by John Daniel at the February meeting of the Society. John explained that such a state of contentment is achieved when what you are is what you aim to be. In his case he had enjoyed and found great satisfaction in his 30 years’ service with the Police which he had joined in Huddersfield in 1960. He recounted many amusing anecdotes of his time in the Force and how things had changed over the years although the essential purposes of the service remained the same.
