The well-known auctioneer and antiques expert Gary Don was the guest speaker at the June meeting of Halifax Aachen Society. He gave an interesting and often amusing account of his life in antiques – starting at the young age of 5! He described and valued items brought along by Society members and their friends. With regret he said that no-one would be going to the Caribbean on the proceeds of the items they brought with them that evening!
