The Society planted trees to celebrate 60 years of friendship and 30 years of formal twinning this year with the German town of Aachen . We planted six large oaks and several smaller saplings at Beacon Hill, Southowram, ably assisted by pupils from Withenfields and Salterlee Primary Schools.
