The Society’s German Evening was very well attended and featured a slide presentation by Neil Atkinson of the recent visit by members to Aachen and a talk by Roy Conway on the Hindenburg airship, including its flight up the Aire valley.
The Honorary German Consul for this region, Mark Green, gave a wide ranging and entertaining talk on different aspects of his work. A German soup supper rounded off an enjoyable evening.
