Patricia Bell made a welcome return visit to the Society’s October meeting to present a slide show entitled Little Known London Part 2.
She provided a fascinating tour around the remains of medieval and Victorian London and the stories of lives in those times that they revealed. Places visited included Newgate, Cross Bones Graveyard for paupers, Pudding Lane and the Foundling hospital in St Pancras.
