Councillor Dot Foster gave a fascinating and rewarding account of her term as a Mayor of Calderdale, contrasting a busy programme of community events with the impact of the pandemic. A highlight was a civic visit to Aachen to attend events celebrating 70 years of friendship between Halifax and Aachen. She was honoured and privileged to sign the Golden Book on behalf of Calderdale Council.
