TV and Film Locations

At the March meeting of the Society Paul Kenny gave an interesting talk and presentation on the topic of TV and Film locations. His examples went back as far as the 1950s and included many productions made in Yorkshire including Billy Liar, The Railway Children, Yanks and Brideshead Revisited. He described how locations were often adapted to fit with the period of the film and in some instances to represent another part of the country or even a foreign setting.
