Life As An Amateur Auctioneer

At its April meeting the guest speaker was Frank Wright who gave an amusing talk on his career as an amateur Auctioneer which he took up following his retirement as a butcher.

He described how he progressed from organising auctions for churches and charities to house clearance sales with many funny incidents along the way, including what to do and not to do when coming across an unexploded bomb from WW1 whilst clearing a property.
